One thing good about time is that it never stops. So, this critical time of COVID-19 will also pass. Soon, It will be a tale of the past. But what should we do till then? First of all, take precautionary measures and don’t go outside unless it is necessary. I would love to suggest a few things to manage your quarantine life.
In this time of lockdown, when everyone is limited to their houses. We also have done one thing more that we have made ourselves locked in our rooms. Online games and social media is our daily routine. Life is not about only sharing memes. Although it is a crucial time, everyone is frustrated by the current situation and wants to get relaxed. But we can do one more thing to make this time a memorable part of our life. Spend as much time as you can with your family.
Spend time with your mother and refresh your memories of childhood. When you used to spend all time with your mother. Ask her about your childish behaviour when you used to tease her.
Recall that time, when she used to tell stories before bedtime. You are never too old to hear those stories again. Ask her to share her childhood memories. I guarantee, she has a lot of memories to share with you, Help her in-home chores. Try some new recipes for her. It will make her feel special. Because, A mother’s smile is the world’s best smile.
Father sacrifices most in his life for his family. Ask him about his struggles in his life. Tell him about your plans, what you want to do in future and ask him for some advice. He knows the world better than you. We all have heard that life is not a bed of roses, but he has practically seen it. His life lessons will be a source of guidance. If you have any differences with him, try to clear them. The only thing you need to do is talk.
Most supportive personalities you will ever find are your siblings. Sit together and discuss everything. Tease each other, laugh and play. Once there was a time, when your elder brother used to do WWE tricks on you, now it’s your turn. Join your sister in her tea parties that she used to have with her dolls. And don’t forget to watch horror movies together.
Call your friends whom you haven’t talked for a long time. Do video calls or voice calls but don’t go to meet them as social distancing is must. There are some things, or you can say memories that you only share with your friends, even your siblings are not a part of it. Share those moments of joy.
One last thing that I would love to suggest is that make a habit of reading. It should be like it is an integral part of your life. Read every day, whether it is only one page. Read any genre of your interest.
STAY SAFE AND STAY HEALTHY
